ALGAE ON FENCES
Fences is either organic or inorganic depending on the construction
material. Organic material –or the surfaces that has been treated
with organic substances- gives nutrition to the algae and therefore
the
affections starts faster.
Fences is often exposed to algae –especially near water- and its
many parts has large amounts of fissures, spaces and joints there algae
spores can establish affection. Maintenance of the fence may therefore
be both time consuming and costly.
Algae grow fast and into every nook and cranny. They are relatively
easy to get rid of, but the growth will not stop until every pore of
the fence has been cleaned.
