ALGAE ON SUN BLINDS

Sun blinds are organic if the textile consists of natural fibres.

The thin and fine fibres in sun blinds capture damp and dirt –which contains nutrients and is therefore an excellent growing ground for spores. The alga affection then spreads through whole textile.

The algae will recur as long as the fibres contain residual spores or affection. Algae affection must be sanitized.
