The surface pores get dirty and damp, which gives nutrition to Cladosporium's
–the black moulds- spores. Thereby the establishment starts and
the affections start to grow. Under the condition that the moisture
levels are constant.
The mortar surface is coarse and therefore an excellent place the spores
to grow in. Remains of mould and spores in the surface pores enable
the black mould to constantly recur. Both deep and shallow cleaning
of the mortar must be done for the affections and future growth to be
stopped.
Bensaltenside sterilizes all growth for 24 hours. Thereafter the mortar
is disinfected and guaranteed to be protected for a minimum of four
years.
