The composition of natural minerals and different deposits makes stone
organic and therefore there are nutrients available for the moss' spore.
The spores are spread by the wind and occur only outdoors. The affections
of moss have begun.
Moss establishes extensive holds on stone and to get rid of recurring
affections and growth, all old moss and spores must be removed from
the stone's surface and its pores by cleaning.
The moss must be sterilized. The surface must be disinfected. Bensaltenside
protects stone for a minimum of four years, but often for longer than
that.
