MOULD ON ROOFS
Roofs are either organic or inorganic –depending on material. New roof
tiles are inorganic –moisture and dirty gives them organic features.
The wooden fibres and
the tar in tarred roofing are organic, which gives nutrition to the
mould spores establishment. The affections are thereby a fact.
Roofs are problematic due to the heights and the risks associated with
that, and also because the work is extensive and physical demanding.
It often requires a lot of time and patience to maintain a roof free
from mould. The costs are unnecessary.
When the spores have gotten attached, all dirt and damp gives the roof
conditions for fast growth and extensive affections. These do not stop
until the whole roof has been sanitized both on the surface and in the
pores.
